§ 02 / the problem
Their best photography was sitting on a hard drive.
The old site leaned on stock coastal imagery and a generic layout — the kind of thing you can spot as a template from across the room. Meanwhile, the owners had years of their own photography of the actual beach, the actual rooms, the actual sunsets. None of it was on the web.
§ 03 / our approach
Real photography, full bleed.
We rebuilt the site around the client's own images. Full-bleed hero sections, generous crop ratios, and a layout that gives each photo space to land. The design recedes so the place can show through. The same template bones are gone.
