§ 02 / the problem
Decades of brand in print. None of it online.
The Hotel Nicanor has been part of Dumaguete for generations. The brand lived in printed collateral — typeset menus, room cards, framed photographs — but the web presence was a generic template that looked like any other small-hotel site. Guests who found them through Google never got a sense of the place before they walked in.
§ 03 / our approach
Translate the print brand for screens.
We pulled type, texture, and colour from the existing print materials and rebuilt them as a web-native system. The result keeps the warmth and weight of the original while loading fast on a phone. Rooms, dining, and history each got space to breathe, and the booking action stays visible without shouting.
