§ 02 / the problem
The old site buried the rooms.
The previous homepage led with marketing copy and a slideshow. Guests had to dig through two menus to find rates and availability, and a lot of them just bounced back to the aggregator they came from. The booking flow was never the thing the site was actually pointing at.
§ 03 / our approach
Put the rooms in the hero.
We rebuilt the site around a rooms-first architecture. The hero now opens on real room photography with a visible check-availability action. Every sub-page — amenities, dining, location — pushes back toward a single booking surface instead of fragmenting the guest across pages. The homepage went from eight competing calls to action to one.
